The Space Race

Description: This project focuses on The Space Race from the two different perspectives of its key players, the USA and USSR, beginning in 1955 through to its culmination in 1975.

Two editorial pieces were created, including similar content, only differing where necessary. The styles of both are representative of a feature I thought would be interesting to work with, and provide a good representation of the country. The Soviet version is designed with Soviet Propaganda in mind, and the US version with blueprints.

As said, the content only differs where necessary. The layouts also follow this process, so in instances where the content is mirrored across the two pieces, so are the layouts, just using their own style.
